On 14, 15, and 16 February 2026, Madaniya hosted the Syrian Corners event, organised by the Stabilisation Support Unit as a community-based cultural initiative highlighting Syria’s cultural diversity.

On 7 February 2026, Madaniya’s headquarters marked the launch of Tastaqel’s training programme, an eight-month track comprising 32 training sessions structured across five main modules.

On 5 February 2026, Madaniya hosted an interactive lecture organised by the Democratic Change Center, dedicated to discussing the state of women’s rights in Syria in light of recent political developments and decisions.

On 8 January 2025, Madaniya hosted the launch event of the Tadweer–Tech initiative at its premises. Tadweer–Tech is an environmental project that aims to transform waste from an environmental burden into a reusable resource and a source of energy.

On 11 January 2025, Madaniya hosted a dialogue session at its premises titled “How Can We Establish a Fair and Inclusive Legal System in Syria?”, organised by the Democratic Change Center in cooperation with Zayla and the European Centre for Kurdish Studies.

On 19 December 2025, Madaniya hosted the Fields of Solidarity event at its premises. The initiative brings together sustainable agriculture, art, and music, and aims to document experiences of agricultural and community-based work, while highlighting agriculture as a space for solidarity, resilience, and livelihood-building.

As part of its support for independent arts and film production, Madaniya hosted a gathering for the Stories Film Lab. The event featured filmmaker Hala Al-Abdallah, who met with participating directors in group sessions to review the projects they had developed over recent months.

16 November Madaniya hosted two extended sessions organised by The Day After, with the participation of international organisations, diplomatic missions, and civil society actors.

On 30 October 2025, Madaniya hosted at its Damascus headquarters a roundtable discussion organised by Karam Foundation to present and debate its 2025 report titled “The Journey Home: Insights into Syrian Refugees’ Aspirations and Challenges to Return.”

On 3 October 2025, Madaniya hosted an event as part of the Duroob Gatherings programme, organised by Ettijahat – Independent Culture, under the title “A Space for Reflection on the Roles of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Syria.

On 24 October 2025, Madaniya hosted an event titled “Syria’s Stolen Children,” which featured the screening and discussion of a documentary film.

On 22 October 2025, Madaniya hosted a symposium titled “The Olive Tree Revival Project,” organised by the Syrian Partnership and Alliance Council in cooperation with the Nordic Countries and with the participation of the Aga Khan Foundation for Development.

On 1 and 2 October 2025, Madaniya hosted an event titled “Nonviolence Today”, organised by the Sullam Network, which specialises in issues of nonviolence and peacebuilding.

On 27 September, Gardenia Choir organised a community arts event entitled Songs Are Still Possible at Madaniya’s headquarters. The event featured an open collective singing session with the participation of Syrians from diverse backgrounds.

In collaboration between the Copenhagen Syrian Film Festival and Stories Film Foundation, Madaniya’s headquarters hosted the Syrian Documentary Days Festival from 22 to 24 September 2025.

On 24 August 2025, the Syrian Society for Wildlife Conservation held a public lecture titled “Green Spaces in Damascus: Prospects and Challenges” at Madaniya’s Damascus headquarters.

On 22 August 2025, Madaniya hosted a joint memorial event organised by the Association of Chemical Attack Victims, the Women's Support and Empowerment Centre, and the Anbar Community Centre, marking the twelfth anniversary of the chemical massacre committed by the former regime in Eastern and Western Ghouta in August 2013.

On 15 August 2025, Madaniya hosted an introductory dialogue session under the Syrian Youth Empowerment Initiative, dedicated to exploring opportunities for pursuing higher education abroad.

Madaniya’s Damascus headquarters is hosting the Stories Film Lab 2025 throughout July and August. This intensive training initiative brings together a diverse group of emerging Syrian filmmakers to strengthen their skills in documentary and short fiction filmmaking.

On 19 June 2025, Madaniya’s headquarters in Damascus hosted a research event organised by Ettijahat – Independent Culture, as part of the ninth cycle of its programme “Research: To Strengthen the Culture of Knowledge.”

Madaniya organised a consultative meeting at its Damascus headquarters with Amnesty International, as part of a joint effort to support pathways of transitional justice and accountability in Syria.

Madaniya facilitated a dialogue between member organisations and the Global Survivors Fund, dedicated to discussing funding strategies for recovery, reparations, and survivor support.

Madaniya organised a meeting between its member organisations and representatives from the Finnish Migration Institute.

Madaniya hosted a meeting at its Damascus headquarters bringing together several of its member organisations and the Director of the Aid Fund for Syria (AFS).

On Wednesday, 28 May, Madaniya hosted an event at its Damascus headquarters titled “The Road Still Misses You”, marking the first public commemoration of Basel Shehadeh and his companions Imad Qassab, Ahmad Al-Asam, and Mohannad Arabi Al-Najjar in the capital following the fall of the Assad regime.

Madaniya hosted the first in-person meeting of Families for Freedom at its headquarters in Damascus — marking the organisation’s first formal presence in the capital since the fall of the Assad regime.

On 18 and 19 April, Madaniya hosted the Khaseb Conference, a two-day event designed to promote dialogue around enhancing digital and financial infrastructure in Syria.

From 22 to 28 April, Madaniya hosted the Bidaya Exhibition to mark the anniversary of the Syrian revolution.

On 27 February 2025, the Syrian Women Journalists Network held a meeting at Madaniya’s office, bringing together a group of Syrian female journalists to discuss the challenges they face and assess their professional and personal needs amidst the difficult conditions in the country.

On 19 February 2025, the Equity and Empowerment organisation held a discussion seminar at Madaniya’s headquarters in Damascus for the launch of the book The Land of Safe Women.

On February 7, 2025, the Syrian Legal Development Program organised a coordination meeting at Madaniya’s office in Damascus, bringing together the International Independent Mechanism for Missing Persons team.
