Lina Al-Najjari

Lina Al-Najjari is a civil society activist who has been engaged in the humanitarian and civic fields since 2013. She studied at the Faculty of Education – Early Childhood Department at the University of Homs before dedicating her efforts to supporting vulnerable communities and promoting civic participation. Lina co-founded Slav Organisation, the first civil society platform in Al-Hasakah, which serves as a hub for supporting community initiatives and amplifying citizens’ voices. She is a trainer in negotiation, conflict resolution, and peaceful mediation, delivering specialised training and contributing to strengthening the capacities of local activists in community dialogue and social cohesion. Lina has also participated in international training programmes on negotiation, mediation, and peacebuilding, which enriched her expertise and enabled her to transfer this knowledge to the local context. In 2018, she graduated from the Civil Society Academy in Tunisia, adding a regional and global dimension to her work. Known for combining hands-on field engagement with advanced training skills, Lina continues to champion citizenship, social justice, and building more cohesive and peaceful communities.
