Ashraf Rajab is a public governance and civil society specialist based in Damascus, with over a decade of experience working across Syria. He currently serves as CEO of Madaniya Network, a national civil society network of more than 250 organizations working to preserve and expand Syria's civic space and restore the political agency of civil society in the country's transition. Previously, Ashraf held senior roles with the national and international NGOs, designing programs that strengthened local governance and community resilience across Syria. As a recent returnee to Syria, Ashraf sees his work as a bridge between Syria's domestic civil society and its diaspora, connecting energy, resources, and vision across borders toward a shared civic future.
