Sharvan Ibesh

Sharvan Ibesh, the Executive Director of Bahar Organisation, a Syrian humanitarian and development organisation that was founded in 2011 by a group of Syrian civil society activists with the goal of promoting Syrian diversity. Bahar operates across northern Syria, with a focus on child protection, education, health, and WASH as key components of the region's recovery and development. Prior to his involvement with Bahar, he was a human rights activist in Syria.

Dr. Ibesh is also a seasoned general surgeon who has worked in various field hospitals in rural Aleppo during the Syrian revolution. Dr. Ibesh has an impressive track record of community service. He was a member of the first Aleppo city local council in 2013, and in 2014 he served as the coordinator for the polio campaigns in Aleppo province.
